The Confederate soldier–standard bearer of a generation who fought and shed their blood to uphold the ideals of Honor, Chivalry and the inalienable right of individual freedom. Above his noble head, the “ANV” (Army of Northern Virginia) battle-flag with its St. Andrews Cross–symbolic of a Celtic background that aligned the Southern Heritage with that of Scotland who, likewise, fought a hopeless struggle against tyranny–epitomizes Virginia’s motto of “Sic Semper Tyrannis;” a motto fully appropriate for all who wore the ‘Grey.

HISTORICAL FACTS:
.54 cal. M1841 “Mississippi” Rifle with cartridge and cap boxes on belt. “ANV” type battle-flag and “CSA” belt plate. CS issue wooden drum canteen. Bedroll over shoulder.”
