Texas A&M University 6 Core Values a monumental bronze sculpture by James Muir Allegorical Sculptor-Artist
Model (Karl Samter) is featured with small clay in-progress version of “Respect”, one of six figures that will ultimately be part of the 24 foot tall monument for Texas A&M University. It will be placed at Kyle Field that is presently undergoing a $450 million expansion, making it the largest stadium in the SEC. The monument and the stadium are to be completed August 2015. James has designed the sculptures to incorporate the history and tradition of the University, along with their 6 Core Values. Each figure symbolizes one of the following character traits that A&M strives to instill in every student:
SELFLESS SERVICE – How can I be of service
EXCELLENCE – Set the bar
LOYALTY – Acceptance forever
INTEGRITY – Character is destiny
LEADERSHIP – Follow me
RESPECT – We are the Aggies, the Aggies are we
Muir states: As an Allegorical Artist, it is tremendously rewarding and truly fulfilling to be part of their vision.
